The Body is a Masterpiece. The amount of care, training and talent in what is perceived as beautiful are the same components for the body as they are for art. Much like an artist honing their skills and talents, evaluating one’s own body is a tremendous exercise in self-awareness that provides an opportunity for self-discovery.
I believe a body’s beauty lies in its efficiency. Like all machines, our bodies are designed and built with varying purposes. Maintenance and structural differences of machines contribute to the efficiency of the task being performed.
It’s about health and design, not about shape or size. How well is your body performing what it was designed to do? This question is meant to encourage more self-love and self-care to create a healthier, more efficient machine. Even if you feel your body is not operating optimally, the good news is that you get your whole life to work on it, that’s why we call it a masterpiece!
This exercise is designed to help realign societal thinking about the way a person wants to celebrate and display their body. Like every other work of art in the world, when on display, adoration and study is permitted and often encouraged, but the works of art are never to be touched without invitation.
You are invited to come 'show off' your favorite look, pose, or body part as I take your photo Complete privacy is provided, undress or don't; I won't judge.
