These pieces are also part of my series ‘Worship’; an expression of awe and devotion to our planet that seeks to show the natural world in a delicate yet vacuous state, symbolizing that our environment is in peril and recognizing the fragility of our ecosystems among the vast expanse of the universe. The series is intended to impress upon the audience a consideration of mankind’s role as stewards of this planet, to be the caretakers of one of the rarest atmospheres in the cosmos.
