Celebrating women’s history month March’s theme is Art of the Diva!

This award winning event takes place the first Thursday of every month and is presented by the Orlando Museum of Art's Associates, a volunteer support group committed to encouraging the appreciation of the visual arts and expanding Museum membership.

These pieces are from my conceptual photography installation series ‘The Body is a Masterpiece’ held during IMMERSE, an immersive arts festival covering 10 city blocks in downtown Orlando with artistry and performances. These model participants capture confidence, power, and grace, qualities of a Diva. Designed to help realign societal thinking about displaying the body. Like other works of art, when on display, adoration is permitted and encouraged, but they’re never to be touched without invitation.
